Besides our own website, we also promote properties on Rightmove, Findaproperty, PrimeLocation and ARLA's own site - PropertyLive.co.uk. This allows us to maximise our web presence with the sole aim of alerting prospective tenants to your property in as short a time as possible. Marketing will continue until receipt from prospective tenants of completed tenancy application forms and good intent payment.
Due Diligence
References are sought to verify affordability by writing to Banks, Employers and current Landlords/Letting Agents (if applicable). Credit checks are also undertaken to ascertain any adverse credit history i.e. IVA/ CCJ's/Bankruptcy.
Tenancy Commencement
Subject to successful completion of our due diligence procedures, we will arrange for the prospective tenants to visit our office to sign the Tenancy Agreement, run through the inventory issues as well as deposit protection requirements and furnish keys, subject of course to receipt of balance of cleared funds. Deposits are equal to one and half times the monthly rent and are lodged with
The Deposit Protection Service (DPS) being the only custodial scheme approved by the Government.
